FRANK 650 is used for annealing low carbon, medium or even high carbon steel wire at temperature up to 720°C. It is recommended for scale-free annealing of authentic stainless steel wire and pressings at 950-960°C followed by a water quench, also recommended for annealing brass, bronze and copper at 650°C and nickel silver at 700°C, FRANK 650 used to prepare the initial melt and to top up the bath to replace dragout.
