FRANK 150 is widely used for tempering and gives very uniform results at low cost. It is widely used for quenching as in Martempering and Austempering. Initial melt is prepared by using FRANK 150 alone. Topping up also is done with FRANK 150 to place drag-out losses. The bottom of the bath should be dredged daily to remove sludge.
